  • BAFTA TV Winners...

    Sunday night saw The British Academy of Film and Television Arts announce the winners of the Virgin TV British Academy Television Awards in a glittering ceremony at the Royal Festival Hall!

    It was a night for rewarding hard-hitting dramas, landmark documentaries and great entertainment.

    Huge congratulations to all the winners with an extra special mention to the teams from…

    Britain’s Got Talent
    The Graham Norton Show
    Cruising With Jane MacDonald
    Love Island
    The Grand National

    Love Island received the BAFTA for Reality & Constructed Factual, and Channel 5 won its first BAFTA since 2011, for Cruising with Jane McDonald in the Features category.

    Ambulance received the BAFTA for Factual Series, Single Documentary was awarded to Rio Ferdinand: Being Mum and Dad and Basquiat – Rage to Riches won the award for Specialist Factual.

    Virgin TV’s Must-See Moment, the only award voted for by the public, was won by Blue Planet II for the ‘Mother Pilot Whale Grieves’ moment.

    HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Martin McEwan and his family on their newest arrival, Cora Rose McEwan.

    They are all doing well and having to relearn newborn stuff whilst entertaining Josie their lively two year old who is helping out with her new sister.

  • Wasn’t it supposed to be snowing this weekend?

    Well it was sunny this morning and its stormy now but the mood is positive and we have a long weekend to look forward to.

    This FRIDAY night…it’s the girls’ turn!
    The Real Full Monty: Ladies’ Night at 9pm on ITV
    Move over boys – it’s time for the ladies to get in on the act! Hot on the heels of last night’s The Real Full Monty, eight fearless female celebrities get ready for the performance of their lives to raise awareness of breast cancer.

    On SATURDAY night its heavyweight time…
    Boxing in Cardiff, Anthony Joshua V Joseph Parker, at 6pm
    The much-hyped battle takes place in Cardiff’s Principality Stadium between Joshua
    and Parker who hails from New Zealand…big shout out to Duncan Cross, Gary Beckerman & Mitch Bligh who’ll be filming the fight.

    On SUNDAY night…for music lovers!
    Change Your Tune, 7pm on ITV
    New series, Baz Ashmawy hosts the musical challenge in which some of the country’s worst singers perform live, then undergo weeks of training to improve their voices.

  • Happy Easter from everyone TOVS...

    The TOVS office will be closed from Friday 30th March to Monday 2nd April, re-opening on Tuesday 3rd April at 9am. In the meantime if you have any urgent enquiries there is an out of hours emergency number on the answering machine in the office.
