Engineer Manager looking after the fleet of 10 vehicles from 4 to 24 camera channel 7.5 tonne to 43 tonne articulated triple expanding flagship production trucks. Using Sony and Grass Valley camera channels. Hot head, RF link, Steadicam, vehicle mounted, Jib mounted. High speed super slow motion. Vision mixer and replay transition setup. EVS. Graphics key and fill. Synchronisers, Scan conversion. UMD’s, Matrix, Reidel comm’s setup and programming. Experience with Generator twin sets. Knowledge of mains distribution, single and three phase power installations.

Gearhouse / MCL for 13 years:
From trainee to senior technician Andrew’s role covered checking and preparing audio video and lighting equipment for dry hire or for use by in house technicians at corporate, concert, sporting venues, product launches conferences and other large events. Multi camera Portable Production Unit design, equipment purchasing, construction, and operation. Camera channels. Microwave links. Talkback Communication systems. Vision mixers, Key and Fill graphics, VT operation, multi format ISO record and playback.
Knowledge of audio signal paths. Portable recorder, ENG and SQN. Microphones, Mixers, compressors, gates, outboard effects. Large PA systems, speaker management. 48 channel 8 way monitor mix for live bands. Experience Midas Desks, generic and intelligent lighting
from Martin and Avolites. Mains distribution, generators, twin sets. Video Projection and multi screen edge blend systems, led screens. Aerial rigging of lighting truss LED screens and projection screens for concerts and large corporate events.
