2 Months filming with The Natural History Unit
as part of main show plus producing, directing
and filming for 1 Hour making of Film. Stationed on the Natural History Unit on a research vessel they travelled to the remotest parts of the Islands situated in the Pacific Ocean off the Coast of Ecuador, using a Helicopter to access incredible footage for this landmark series.

4 Months in South Georgia, Antartica as part
of main crew plus producing, directing and filming for 1 Hour making of Film. We lived on a boat and braved some of the most extreme weather on the planet. Creating a beautiful feature length movie.

Making of movie from pre production to finish
of film. Producing promotional material and behind the scenes DVD extras for Studio. Danny’s role included interviewing all the cast including Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway and Eddie Redmayne. Producing interviews and sequences for many of the Oscar winning crew in makeup, sound and costume. Shot numerous time lapses and documented the whole production.

Gold Rush is a flagship Discovery series mainly
shot on location on gold mines in northern Canada close to the Alaska border. Danny’s role was to produce, direct and shoot stories often in harsh and challenging conditions, directing minicams, drones and DOP crews to build stories and sequences. Alongside producers they build and maintain relationships, negotiate access and pursue storylines with sometimes very challenging
contributors.

Salvage Hunters – The Restorers is a spin off from the very successful Drew Pritchard show. The task on season 2 was to consolidate the brand and successfully move it forward . Danny’s role as Self Shooting PD was to produce, direct, shoot and record sound. He created a strong look and shot the bulk of the series himself. He produced both experienced and new talent and found great stories to tell

The Love and Hip Hop docu-soap franchise heads to Tinseltown to follow a group of rising stars and starlets fighting for their chance to make it in the entertainment capital of the world. Involved filming in London, all managing and negotiating skills were needed.
