James has worked as a Technical Engineer at the BRIT Awards, while gaining more experience in Outside Broadcast with the BBC, Red TX, the Mixbus and Spiritland. - Proficient in computer hardware and software having specified and built audio recording machines for K and A Productions and Delphian Records.
- Enthusiasm for new computer technology and research.
- Familiar with shell scripting on Windows, Mac OS and Linux.
- Fluent with Pyramix, SADiE, ProTools and Samplitude.
- Experience with analogue and digital mixing desks including SSL 9000K, Yamaha DM1000 and Studer Vista.

James offers sound recording on location with a bespoke rig capable of handling 16 channels of mic inputs on the stage or in the studio, connected via 100m fibre to a control room setup – complete with video and talkback feeds. For bigger projects more channels can be provided. The rig features remote controlled preamps and delivers high resolution audio at 192kHz or higher rates up to DXD/DSD at 384kHz/32-bit float. Designed primarily for recording sessions on location in venues such as churches and concert halls. Can tie in to existing MADI or Ravenna infrastructure easily.
