Outside broadcast guarantee systems engineer with a demonstrated history of providing world-class facilities for a volume of clients around the globe, across a variety of genres, on-location and on remote productions. Joseph possesses skills to operate a range of equipment, including but not limited to; deploying and configuring standard and supermotion Sony camera channels; Gigawave and Vislink RF microwave links; Sony MVS series vision mixers; Tallyman, ProBel, Leitch, Evertz EQX, Miranda and Blackmagic Design router and UMD control systems; Harris, ForA, and Decimator Design multiviewer systems. Progressing from the role of Vision Engineer to Engineering Manager at Televideo Outside Broadcast in under three years, Joseph is now looking to increase the variety of work available through freelancing.

EMPLOYMENT:
Freelance Vision Engineer (2023-Onwards)
Freelance Vision Engineer/Guarantee delivering engineering services for OB and live events facilities providers.
Televideo Outside Broadcast & Production (2019-2023)
Vision Guarantee / Engineering Manager across Televideo’s fleet of ten high definition outside broadcast units, with additional responsibilities including;
Deploying, configuration and managing of twinset generators.
Deploying, engineering, maintaining and upgrading high definition outside broadcast units.
Managing equipment stores, servicing and maintenance, wet and dry hire, and distribution.
Training and orientation of staff from Apprentice to Guarantee level.
FAL Broadcast Systems Integrators (2019)
Undertook a variety of roles during his time at FAL dependant on the needs of the business, these included;
Developing skills in light carpentry, woodwork and cable termination as a wireman.
Systems integration using Blackmagic Design and Grass Valley equipment.
DC electrical installation, single and three-phase mains installation, creating and modifying wiring schematics and utilising CAD software.
Warehouse organisation and inventory management.
