Lucy has worked for Production Companies such as Optomen, Keo and Endemol as well as major broadcasters including ITV, BBC and C4, building up a CV that includes property, reality, cookery, obs doc, medical and live or studio based shows for daytime and peak time schedules. Well branded, entertaining, narrative driven series are my bag and I will bring all the creativity and dedication required to make these shows. As well as Edit Producing I absolutely love directing shoot teams and working hard to get the most out of the story and situations while making sure everyone on the crew can feel relaxed enough to deliver their best.

As a Series Producer I delivered to BBC 1 and 2, ITV, Sky and LIVING and while I’m keen to get back to my own series at some stage, Directing and Edit Producing is where I’m at just now. My experience at this level means I am quick, decisive and creative in the suite and able to take on multiple edits, produce entertaining reversions, or parachute into other areas of production that need support.
While Series Producing I worked on populist narrative series like Psychic Sally: On The Road companion shows like I’m A Celebrity: Coming Home, and studio shows such as Saturday Kitchen under Execs Natalka Znak, Richard Cowles and Sue Walton.
Reality credits include Castaway, Hell’s Kitchen and I’m A Celebrity and I cut my teeth on programmes such as Wish You Were Here…?, Pet Rescue, This Morning and Good Morning with Anne and Nick.
Food is a personal passion as well as a career theme. I worked on Naked Chef as an AP and have worked with a number of today’s best known food presenters from Nigella Lawson to Gino D’Acampo.
My career started in BBC News and this training in factual storytelling has been a theme throughout my career. As I diversified into entertainment, many iconic shows followed and with presenters embedded in the lore of television such as Judith Chalmers and Keith Floyd.
I have always enjoyed the exceptional communication skills demanded in television to get to the absolute best from the story, situations, contributors, talent and teams. My passion for production and knowledge of the nuanced way in which it works would be of value to anyone putting a team together.
