Greg is an Outside Broadcast Sound Engineer with over 7 years of experience. Rigging and operating sound equipment on outside broadcasts for all positions including commentary, pitch-side presentation, studio, reporter and so on. Greg is skilled in Location Sound Recording and Post Production Sound for documentaries, junkets, short films, feature films and online promotions. With a wide range of technical skills, Greg is friendly to work with, makes any shoot go as smoothly as possible and is a real team player.

Leading the floor sound department at Arena. Roles include:

  • Rigging and operating audio equipment for sports outside broadcast operations.
  • Rigging and monitoring commentary positions, studios and reporter positions for sports broadcasts.
  • Ensuring smooth operations of the outdoor sound element of all outside broadcasts.
  • Repair and maintenance of equipment, populating and soldering PCBs and other bespoke cabling solutions.

Studio sound supervisor and technician for Farsi-speaking television network. Covered many genres of programming from the news, entertainment programs and a regular One Show style chat show.. Other duties included maintenance of sound equipment in kit room and occasional post production duties along with location sound recording. Broadcast internationally live or recorded as-live.

OBS London Olympics 2012: Commentary Systems Operator

Responsible for rigging commentary positions and assisting commentators in their operations for the Olympic Games basketball competitions in the Olympic Park, Stratford.
