RED BEE MEDIA CHANNEL 4: EDIT ASSISTANT
NOVEMBER 2019 - JULY 2021
A role with many varying tasks including but not limited to Avid conforms, DPP file creation (for clients such as BFI and Discovery), delivery of files ready for broadcast (including a series of vital checks), digital and tape ingests, asset management, project set up, media encoding and file creation to a range of specs (HD and SD) - Working as part of a small team and in constant communication with a bookings department - Managing the job load that is booked as an operator and working to tight deadlines.
DAZN: JUNIOR EDITOR
MARCH 2019 - OCTOBER 2019
Working across a variety of sports including basketball, football, tennis, WRC, F2, cricket and rugby, self producing HLs, comping matches and finishing promos on both Avid and Premiere - Delving into the LTO archive for material, logging matches and quality checking all work before uploading to a variety of platforms using CMS.

Working primarily with the Avid/Interplay system across a number of projects covering various sports - Ingesting, transcoding and exporting content whilst working with different tapeless formats (PAL and NTSC) - Solving technical issues across around twenty in-house Avid suites whilst also solving problems across Dalet, Object Matrix and online platforms (e.g. CMS) - Reversioning and clipping content on Avid with exporting and QCing - Becoming familiar with the workflow of each client/sport and the escalation protocol - Demonstrating an attention for detail that is vital for the job.
